  • Wow… what you think of “White Chicks?” I know it’s a very low-brow film but I kinda liked it!!!!

    • I kinda liked it as well. Some of the jokes are far too crass for me, but I laughed a good number of times and I think that there’s some thoughtful race satire behind the surface goofiness.

  • A great selection James! How do you decide which films you do a write-up on and which ones you skip? Is it simply a matter of which ones inspire you more? Or does it mean that you’re still gathering your thoughts on the ones you haven’t reviewed yet?

Not that we have to do a reflection on every film we watch, of course. Just curious about you process.

    • For this month, I knew I wanted to write about all the horror movies, and since I’m doing a Bond marathon, I wrote about those as well. So usually, I know if I’m going to write a movie before I watch it.

Beyond that, if a film inspires me to write, it depends on how busy I am. In a normal month, I would have wrote about Cyborg, but I’ve been rather busy this month and didn’t have the time/energy to do it. I desperately wanted to write about it, but it was something I watched in the middle of a busy week.
