Back in January, I made a lengthy post about why I watch films. The problem was at the time I overloaded my readers with a wall of daunting text. This is something I try to avoid whenever possible by providing pictures. Well, today, I decided to go back and add some pictures. Now, it’s should be a lot easier to read, and a lot nicer to look at.
In secret, I’ve slowly been siphoning part of my writing resources elsewhere. Actually, it’s been linked on my site for quite some time now, but I haven’t made a post about it. I’ve started up a video game blog because there’s a serious shortage of video game talk on the internet. Seriously, I just did it because I started writing these reviews and wanted a platform for people to read them. I thought about posting about it a while back, but due to the lack of content and the thought that most of my readers probably don’t play video games, I just left it alone in the dark, lying in wait. Now I have an in because my latest post is actually related to movies as well.
For those of you who care about pretty looking images or The Oscars, I’ve written a little piece about the nominees for best cinematography. If you don’t like pretty pictures, well, you might want to find another site as I pretty much just use reviews as an excuse to post beautiful images.
I wrote an article to respond to all the people who say 2010 was a terrible year in films. In part, because I was up in the middle of the night and figured I may as well do something and in part because I wanted to defend films as being generally worth people’s time. The article is up at The Reelists. Check it out
